GSTS managed to beat T.T.I 5:6 on penalty shootouts after the game ended in a 1:1 stalemate. The Western Regional Sports Authority boss Mr. Jeffrey Manzam has commended Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) for partnering the upcoming Inter-districts athletics championship. GNPC are the main headline sponsor for the maiden edition of the Inter-districts athletics championship which has been slated for Saturday 1st December,2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium. Sixteen districts have confirmed to participate in the National Sports Authority and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation’s Inter-districts athletics championship which has been slated for Saturday 1st December,2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
