Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) have emerged champions of the Takoradi zone Inter- School and Colleges Football Competition. GSTS managed to beat T.T.I 5:6 on penalty shootouts after the game ended in a 1:1 stalemate. Henry Nyarko had the opener for T.T.I in the first half but Henry Nkansah Attakora had the equalizer in the latter part of the first 45 minutes. The Western Regional Sports Authority boss Mr. Jeffrey Manzam has commended Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) for partnering the upcoming Inter-districts athletics championship. GNPC are the main headline sponsor for the maiden edition of the Inter-districts athletics championship which has been slated for Saturday 1st December,2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium. The Western Region Director of the National Sports Authority, Mr. Jeffrey K.Owusu Manzan has called on authorities to help in developing sports in the region. Sixteen districts have confirmed to participate in the National Sports Authority and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation’s Inter-districts athletics championship which has been slated for Saturday 1st December,2018 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
