One officer of the NVTTI has been shot dead during a ransacking exercise by unidentified armed assailants at Anaji around the Queen of Peace School in Takoradi. The deceased was reported to have engage in a scuffle with the armed robbers but unfortunately he was shot dead. Asante Kotoko enterprising winger Maxwell Baakoh has begun light training after suffering from a knee injury. The 24-year old aggravated his knee injury during Asante Kotoko CAF Confederation Cup game against Nkana FC in Zambia were the Porcupines suffered a 3:2 defeat. Baakoh has been in Asante Kotoko treatment room for the past five months after picking up the unfortunate injury.
