The team landed at the Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe International Airport at 12:00 hours in Zambia with Ethiopian Airlines. Kotoko, the only Ghanaian representative in the CAF inter-club competition will face Nkana FC in match-three of the Confederation Cup group stages at the Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
