Sports Minister commends SWAG for impacting positively to sports in Ghana

The Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah has commended the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) for contributing positively to sports development in the country.

Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah lauded the leadership of SWAG and the traditional rulers in the country for impacting positively towards football development.

The Atwima Mponua Member of Parliament commended both SWAG and traditional rulers during the 44th edition of the annual SWAG awards which was held at the Accra International Conference Center on Saturday.

“I commend SWAG and our traditional rulers who have impacted positively in sports and football development in our county.” The Minister said during his speech at the 44th edition of the SWAG awards.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid midfield dynamo, Thomas Partey won the two topmost awards during the ceremony (Male Footballer Of The Year, Sports Personality of the Year) with FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup goal queen, Mukarama Abdulai winning the Female Footballer Of The Year.
