Many believe the former Deputy Minister for Lands and Resources was enjoying every bit of what was happening since he didn’t resist or make any attempt to push the Ursula Owusu off his lap.
But speaking on Okay FM, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh jokingly stated that Ursula Owusu was the one enjoying and not him since he felt nothing when Mrs Owusu sat on his lap.
“I am sure Hon. Ursula Owusu was rather enjoying me whilst she sat on my lap since I wasn’t feeling anything for her,” he said jokingly.[ads3]
“My wife has even threatened to sue Hon. Ursula Owusu for human rights and domestic abuse.”
On what led to Ursula Owusu ending up on his lap, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh explained that they had taken over the right side of the Speaker, as it was a new Parliament and seating arrangement has not been indicated, however Ursula Owusu insisted on sitting on the seat which he has already occupied.
He explained that the seat, before had Hon. Cletus Avorka sitting on it but he left to do something else where he [Akandoh] came and took over the seat but Ursula Owusu was insisting on sitting on the same seat which led to her ending on his laps.[ads4]
“So after a while, she stood up and I went to occupy the seat, then from nowhere Hon. Ursula Owusu came to sit on me,” he narrated.
“Kwame, I don’t know if Hon. Ursula Owusu ‘feels’ me from afar because I can’t clearly comprehend her actions,” he added.[ads5]
