Zesco United have officially written to Asante Kotoko for the services of winger Emmanuel Gyamfi, Kyfilla.com can report.
The 22-year old has popped up on the Zambian side radar after an impressive performance in Asante Kotoko last season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
According to a deep throat at the management team of the Kumasi based side, Zesco United have written to the Porcupine Warriors for the availability of the former Wa All Stars winger and a deal is likely to be finalized should negotiations end fruitfully.
The Ndola based club initially requested for Songne Yacouba but the deal didn’t materialized as the Burkinabe marksman is interested to join Al Hilal instead.
Should the deal materialized, Asante Kotoko will be earning huge as Emmanuel Gyamfi is still under contract and will expire in 2020.
Emmanuel Gyamfi joined Asante Kotoko on free transfer in 2016 after leaving Wa All Stars.
