The Local Organizing Committee of the Western Region Invitational Tournament have announced the deadline for the submission of final squad-list.
According to the Committee, Tuesday, September 10 has been set as the deadline for the participating clubs to submit their final squad-list for the tournament.
The tournament which was initially slated for 13-22nd September, has been rescheduled to 20-29th September, 2019.
Eight teams will battle for the ultimate, with each club pocketing an appearance fee of GH¢ 5000.

The eight teams include; Medeama Sporting Club, Elmina Sharks, Karela United, Sekondi Hasaacas, Proud United, Skyy FC, Samartex FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise.
Elmina Sharks replaced division one side Nzema Kotoko after pulling out of the competition.

The eight teams have been grouped into two with each group boating of four clubs.
The group A clubs will be hosted at the Sekondi Sports Stadium whiles Samartex Park in Samraboi will host the group B teams.
