The leadership of the Western Region Club Owners Association have announced to hold an emergency meeting with all club owners in the region at Gyandu Park in Sekondi on Monday, October 12, 2020.
Discussions would be centered around the $4,000 FIFA/ CAF Covid-19 Relief Fund released to the Western Regional Football Association by the Ghana FA.

FIFA and CAF as part of supporting their member associations who have been greatly affected by the novel Coronavirus, announced $1.8million to all the associations worldwide.
But announcing the disbursement, the Ghana FA stated that $10,000 out of the $1.8million to be paid in tranches would be given to each of the ten Regional Football Associations.

Kyfilla.com earlier broke the news that, the Western Regional Football Association has received $4,000 which is the first tranche of the FIFA/CAF Covid-19 Relief Fund from the Ghana FA with the second tranche ($6,000) to land in January, 2021.
Other matters to be discussed at the meeting would the registration for the 2020/2021 league season as well as the vacant RFA secretarial position.
