Real Tamale United (RTU) defender Rashid Alhassan is optimistic that his outfit will defeat Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
RTU will host Kotoko in week 25 of the Ghana Premier League at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale on Sunday.
And with Kotoko current performance, many believe it will be a mere formality for the Porcupine Warriors who want to stretch their lead in the league log.
But Rashid Alhassan who joined RTU from Medeama SC in the middle of the league season, believes his outfit have what it takes to dismantle Asante Kotoko in Tamale on Sunday.
According to the former Wa All Stars [Now Legon Cities FC) defender, RTU will beat Kotoko heavily in Tamale with more than three goals.
“Kotoko have a good squad, they are on form because they recently beat Hearts of Oak and are leading the league table as well but we will beat them on Sunday
“Even though our performance hasn’t been that encouraging, playing against Kotoko comes with a different energy and I believe we can beat them by three or more goals on Sunday”, Rashid Alhassan told Kyfilla.com exclusively.
Asante Kotoko current lead the Ghana Premier League log after 24 matches with 52 points, 27 points separating them and RTU who languish 15th.
