Asante Kotoko winger Matthew Kelvin Andoh has confidently declared that his outfit will eliminate Kano Pillars from the CAF Champions League in Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors were beaten 3:2 by Kano Pillars in Nigeria and will host the reverse fixture in Kumasi on August 27.
Despite the defeat to the Kano based in Nigeria last Saturday, Kelvin Andoh is of the believe that Asante Kotoko will definitely eliminate Kano Pillars in the second-leg game at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
“We lost the first-leg in Nigeria but our performance was not all that bad and I know we will get rid of them [Kano Pillars] in Kumasi”, Andoh told Kyfilla.com.
“We played very well in Nigeria and I know in Kumasi, come what may they will fall.
“We will need the supporters to fill the stadium on the day and I know Asante Kotoko fans will come in their numbers during the second-leg in Kumasi.
“Asante Kotoko is a big club in Africa and not Ghana alone and it’s a privileged to play for such team. We won’t disappoint in the second-leg game”, he added.
