Medeama Sporting Club midfielder Justice Blay suffered a horrific tackle from Legon Cities FC defender Joseph Adjei in their league clash at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa on Sunday.
The highly-rated midfielder was forced off just before the break after he suffered the setback in the side’s 2-1 win over Legon Cities in the Ghanaian Match Day-20 top-flight fixture at the Akoon Park.[ads2]
Joseph Adjei was subsequently shown the red card for the nasty tackle on Justice Blay who was having a fine form this season.
Scans at the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital have revealed that the midfielder has suffered a fracture of distal 1/3 of right fibula.[ads3]
Blay is expected to sit at the treatment room for two to three months without playing.
