Asante Kotoko buoyant defender, Wahab Adams has been voted the team’s best player in the Normalization Committee Special Competition.
Adams was spectacular at the back of defense for the Porcupine Warriors throughout the competition, forming a solid partnership with Abdul Ishmael Ganiyu.
The 26-year old beat competition from Emmanuel Gyamfi as well as the topscorer for the team in the NC Special Competition, Abdul Fatawu Shafiu to clinch the accolade.
The bulky defender was spectacular in the finals of the NC Special Competition where he helped Asante Kotoko to beat Karela United 4:1 on shootouts to lift the giant trophy and also book a slot in next season’s CAF Champions League.
Wahab Adams joined Asante Kotoko from Aduana Stars as a free agent after helping the Ogya Boys win the 2017 Ghana Premier League.
