Former Asante Kotoko forward Fatawu Safiu has married his girlfriend Adila Jafaru.

The 25-year old married his longtime girlfriend in a ceremony on Sunday, January 5, 2020.
The Islamic ceremony which was strictly by invitation took place in Techiman with friends and some of his old teammates in attendance.
Safiu left Ghana Premier League outfit Asante Kotoko to join Swedish second-tier side Trellesborg IF.

He initially joined on a four-month loan before making it permanent in November 2019.
