There were reports in the local media that, Winful Cobbinah has been sentenced to four months in prison for being found guilty of ‘forgery of official documents’.

This comes after the FK Tirana playmaker was granted Albanian citizenship and passport following his spectacular performance in the Albanian league.
In a video sighted by Kyfilla.com, Winful Cobbinah has denied the reportage, stating that the news of him being jailed in Albania should be treated as false.

“I have seen news going viral that I have been jailed four months in Albania, I want to state that it false and should be disregarded. As you can see, am home and enjoying life”, Winful Cobbinah said.
