[ads1]The Executive Committee of the Western Regional branch of the Sports Writer’s Association of Ghana (SWAG) have scheduled to hold a first-ever General Meeting on Friday, October 2, 2020.
The much anticipating meeting will be held at the Faculty of Applied Arts Conference Room at the Takoradi Technical University with practicing sports journos in Western and Western North Region in attendance.[ads2]
At the meeting, there will be an exposition on the membership registration and other related matters pertaining to the registration. There will also be discussions on the activities of the association for the final quarter of the year as well as feedbacks from the major decisions taken by the Executive Committee of the association during their last meeting at the Boyboison Hotel in Takoradi few weeks ago.[ads3]
Part of their release reads, “due to the devastating coronavirus, sports journalists attending the meeting on Friday at 3:00PM are entreated to mask-up before allowed entry.”
