Seven organizations have bided for the Ghana Premier League television broadcast rights.

The Ghana Football Association in their recent release, announced that seven top notch organizations are chasing for the rights to broadcast the Ghana Premier League.
This comes after the GFA terminated its ten years contract with Chinese media firm Startimes.
According to reports in the local media, Supersport, Canal +, ESPN, Startimes and three other companies are battling for the television rights.

Kyfilla.com understands, Supersport are leading the race to land the Ghana Premier League television broadcast rights with ESPN and Startimes mounting a deep chase.
Per the release from the GFA, the new television broadcasting company for the Ghana Premier League will be announced in the coming days.
Meanwhile the Ghana Premier League will kick off on Sunday at the various league centers in the country and will not be broadcast live on any TV Channel.
