The government of Ghana has given the greenlight for 30,000 spectators for Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko tie on Sunday.
This comes after Hearts of Oak wrote to the government to increase the number of spectators for the biggest clash in Ghana’s football history.
Initially Hearts of Oak were given 9,000 tickets by the National Sports Authority as government were stick to the decision of 25 percent attendance.
The Phobians will host their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in a make or break tie at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, February 20, 2022.
The defending Champions are hoping to defeat Kotoko who currently leads the Ghana Premier League log.
For Asante Kotoko, the Porcupines are looking forward to avenge last season’s defeat in Accra that saw them losing the league title to Hearts of Oak.
A win for Asante Kotoko will see them stretch their lead over Hearts of Oak to 15 points, a situation the Phobians are determined to avoid.
