The Ministry of Sports and Recreation, under the leadership of Kofi Adams, has resolved the overdue per diem claims of the Black Princesses from their 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers against Tunisia.
Ghana’s Black Princesses complained last year that their winning bonus had not been paid after their qualification for the U-20 World Cup finals.
The settlement of the bonus will go a long way to propel them to represent Ghana in good faith and with verve.
Charles Sampson’s team, which defeated Tunisia 4-1 on aggregate, will now compete against South Africa in the third round next month. The recent payment has boosted team morale as they pursue another World Cup qualification.
