Division One League side Asokwa Deportivo held Asante Kotoko to a 3:3 stalemate in a friendly at the Adako Jachie on Thursday.

Goals from Songne Yacouba, Justice Blay and George Abege were not enough as Deportivo levelled the scores at the end of the match today.
Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba opened the deadlock for the Porcupines in the 26th minute to end the first half of the friendly encounter.
Coach Maxwell Konadu made four changes in the early minutes of the second half by replacing Augustine Sefah, Emmanuel Gyamfi, Martin Antwi and Collins Ameyaw with Christopher Nettey, Imoro Ibrahim, Kelvin Andoh and Mudasiru Salifu respectively.

In the 51st minute, William Opoku Mensah came in for Songne Yacouba.
Deportivo levelled the scores before Justice Blay brought the Porcupine Warriors to the lead again in the 90th minute from the spot.
George Abege made it 3:1 but unfortunately Asokwa Deportivo came back stronger to equalize the two goals to finish the match 3:3.
The match was to prepare coach Maxwell Konadu’ side as they face Hearts of Oak in the 2019 President Cup set for December 22, 2019 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
