Burkina Faso international Songne Yacouba has rejected Asante Kotoko improved offer of GH¢ 80,000.

The 27-year old goal poacher met the management of Kotoko on Tuesday to discuss a contract renewal with the club.
Per reports, during the meeting, management of Kotoko quoted an amount of GH¢ 80,000 for two years which is an improved offer from his old contract of GH¢ 60,000.

Yacouba in the meeting rejected the improved offer from the management of the Porcupines, with a final meeting set to be held in the coming days.
Songne Yacouba has been instrumental for Kotoko, helping the team to reach the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup last season where he bagged two goals with five assists.
