The agent of Asante Kotoko striker Songne Yacouba, Jesse Gyantuah has denied media reports that his client has agreed to sign a three-year deal with Kotoko.

It has been reported in the media that, the Burkina Faso international whose contract with Kotoko will end next month, has agreed to renew his contract for three more years with the Executive Chairman of the Ghana Premier League giant, Dr. Kwame Kyei ready to pay the player’s demand.
But Mr. Jesse Gyantuah has denied the reports circulating in the media circles, indicating that his client has never agreed to sign a new deal with Kotoko yet.
Though the Burkinabe import is said to have met Dr. Kwame Kyei for contractual talks, his agent has denied that his client has agreed a new deal with Kotoko.
In an exclusive interview with Kyfilla.com, Mr. Gyantuah said, “It’s never true, we haven’t agree any deal with Kotoko, it’s never true”.

Songne Yacouba was sidelined by Kotoko in seven matches in the Premier League after demanding a whopping $150,000 before renewing his contract.
But before the Ghana Premier League was suspended due to the outbreak of deadly disease Coronavirus, Songne Yacouba returned to feature in Kotoko game against Karela United held at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa where they won 0:1.
