Ghanaian midfielder, Solomon Asante has denied signing for Ghana Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea.
The former Berekum Chelsea midfielder has rebuffed reports that he has rejoined the club in the ongoing transfer window.[ads2]
Reports were that Solomon Asante has rejoined Berekum Chelsea after parting ways with American side Phoenix Rising.
But the 31-year old has denied the reportage, stressing that he is currently in Ghana for holidays and has not signed for any club.
Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Happy FM, Asante stated that he is ready to play for Berekum Chelsea and any other club should they meet his demands.[ads3]
“I am currently in Ghana for Holidays”, he told Happy FM.
“I have not signed any contract with Berekum Chelsea. If they have the money and can afford, I will be ready to play if they can pay my wages that’s fine”.
“Currently I am a free agent. My wages are high and am ready for any club that is okay and ready to meet my demands”[ads4]
Solomon Asante played for Berekum Chelsea and was part of the squad that won the Ghana Premier League and also participated in the CAF Champions League.
He departed Berekum Chelsea to join DR Congo giants TP Mazembe before joining Phoenix Rising in the USA..[ads5]
