Newly elected Western Region Football Association Chairman, Simon Ehomah has declared his intentions to represent the other nine Chairmen on the Ghana FA Executive Council.

The bankroller for Basake Holy Royals was elected the Western Region Football Association Chairman after beating off competitions from the then Vice Chairman James Asiedu Kainyah and Bismark Owusu Mensah.

Simon Ehomah who has grassroots football at heart has declared his intentions to contest for one of the slots apportioned for RFA chairmen on the Executive Council.

Speaking to Kyfilla.com on phone, the former Ellembelle district football chairman said that, “Yes I will contest for one of the two slots on the GFA Executive Council.”
Only to slots have been demarcated for the ten RFA’s Chairmen on the Ghana FA Executive Council following the reduction of the composition from 23 to 12 members.

The elections will be held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Accra on October 24, 2019 at exactly 9:00AM.
