Fijai Soccer Academy goalkeeper, Robert Nyadedzor has been invited to the Black Sharks (Ghana’s national beach soccer team) ahead of African Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.
Ghana face Egypt in a crunchy first leg tie of the qualifiers at the Laboma Beach in Accra on July 22-24, 2022.
Nyadedzor has been handed an invitation by coach Daniel Kotey and currently at the team’s camp in Accra preparing for the epic game.
The 20-year old netminder has earned the call-up following his spectacular form for Fijai Soccer Academy in the Western Region division two league this season.
As a goalkeeper, Nyadedzor netted four goals for Fijai Soccer Academy in the 2021/22 division two league, making 18 appearances with 12 clean sheets.
His exploits ensured Fijai Soccer Academy qualify for the Super Middle League but the team failed to reach the final of the competition.
Robert Nyadedzor is a specialist in saving penalties, very incredible in 1V1 situations with very good diving skills.
He won five man-of-the-match awards as a goalkeeper in the just ended division two league season in the Western Region.
