Black Stars and Red Star Belgrade forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom has been ruled out of action for a week after sustaining an injury.

The 26-year old sustained an injury at training and missed Red Star Belgrade league game last weekend which they won by 3-1.

He will miss today’s Champions League game against Tottenham which will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Sports Stadium.

Boakye-Yiadom has been instrumental for Red Star Belgrade in Europe this season, scoring four goals in the competition. Three in the qualifying rounds and one in the group stage.

The former Atlanta marksman is hoping to return to full fitness and be ready for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa on November 15, 2019.
