Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Senanu has been told to leave the clubhouse according to manager Ibrahim.
The talented midfielder has had his contract with the Ghana Premier League heavyweight coming to an end.
But according to Mr. Ibrahim, Kotoko offered the midfielder a new contract without a signing on fee but a salary of Gh¢2,500.00 but has been rejected by the management of the player who are demanding Gh¢5,000.00
Speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi TV/Radio, Ibrahim revealed that the management of Asante Kotoko have given the midfielder two weeks ultimatum to leave the clubhouse.
Ibrahim said on Wontumi Radio that, “We have received a new contract from Kotoko, they said they will pay no signing on fee but a salary of Gh¢2,500 but we have rejected it. We want Gh¢5,000 but they [Kotoko] said no. The player is ready to play for Kotoko but hasn’t signed any deal yet”
“He has been given two weeks ultimatum to leave the clubhouse, I even called Dasoberi [Kotoko administrative manager] but he said Kotoko is not interested in the player”, he added…
Senanu joined Asante Kotoko in 2018 from lower tier side Phar Rangers on a three-year deal but spent most of the years at the treatment room..[ads5]
