Asante Kotoko newly signed goal poacher, Richard Arthur is expected to commence training with the team today at Adako Jachie training complex in Kumasi.
The 25-year old joined the Porcupine Warriors on a three-year deal as a free agent after abrogating his contract with Ethiopian side St. Georges.
Arthur came to the limelight after helping Wa All Stars to their first ever Ghana Premier League title in 2016 where he also scored eight goals in the campaign.
He has joined the Porcupines for the second time after a brief stay in 2016-17 before joining Interclube Luanda in Angola.
The former Windy Professionals attacker is expected to form a deadly partnership with former Kariobanji Sharks lanky marksman George Abege for Asante Kotoko in the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
He was included in Asante Kotoko registered squad for the CAF Champions League campaign which start on August 9, 2019.
