Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Hearts of Oak have begun talking with two local based coaches for the head coach position in the club.
The Phobians are currently without a substantive head coach after Kosta Papic resigned from his position at the club.[ads2]
But a deep source has revealed to Kyfilla.com that, leadership of the Accra-based club have begun talking to coach Sellas Tetteh and Yaw Preko for the top position.
Though none of the coaches has accepted to mount the top position at the club, the source explain that the top hierarchy of Hearts of Oak are determined to land the services of one of the two aforementioned coaches for the rest of the league season.[ads3]
It is believed that the appointment of any of the two coaches will be one of the main agendas for discussion when the board of the club meet this week to deliberate on the way forward of the club.
Coach Sellas Tetteh has been unattached after quitting his job as the national team head coach for the Serra Leone in March, 2020 whiles Yaw Preko recently served as the interim head coach at Great Olympics.[ads4]
Currently, Hearts of Oak have appointed their U15 coach Samuel Nii Noi as the interim head coach until a substantive gaffer is appointed by the club.
This comes after the departure of head coach Kosta Papic, assistant Asare Bediako and goalkeeper’s trainer Ben Owu.[ads5]
