Serbian trainer, Milovan Rajevac has been sacked as Black Stars head coach, according to multiple reports.
The 66-year old has been reportedly sacked following Black Stars early exit from the AFCON 2021 in Cameroon.[ads2]
Coach Rajevac has been told to vacate the Black Stars top position after emergency meeting between the leadership of the Ghana Football Association and the Sports Ministry on Friday.
Ghana, for the very first time in history, failed to accumulate a single win in an AFCON campaign hence Ghanaians calling for the exit of Milovan Rajevac who supervised the campaign.[ads3]
Ghana lost to Morocco and debutant Comoros in the group stage of the AFCON 2021 and only managed to secure a point in a cagey encounter against Gabon who were without superstar Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.
Milovan Rajevac was appointed to succeed former Ghana captain CK Akonnor as Black Stars coach in September, 2021.[ads5]
