Ghana Premier League powerhouse, Asante Kotoko have reportedly begun talks with Mudasiru Salifu to renew his contract.
According to reports, the 25-year old defensive midfielder will have his three-year contract with Kotoko coming to an end at the end of the ongoing league season.
And following his spectacular form this season, the management of Kotoko have commenced talks with the talented midfielder to renew his stay at the club.
It is believed that Mudasiru Salifu has already attracted interest from clubs abroad following his blistering form this season in the Ghana Premier League.
Salifu has been a huge contributor to Asante Kotoko success this season, scoring a goal in 21 league matches with one assist to his credit.
He is regarded as one of the best performing defensive midfielders in the Ghana Premier League this season with many calling for his inclusion to the Black Stars for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

His exceptional performance for Asante Kotoko has culminated to the team’s huge chances of winning the Ghana Premier League this season.
Mudasiru Salifu joined Asante Kotoko in July, 2019 on a three-year deal, having played for Ivorian side Tanda FC among other clubs in the continent.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko currently sit at the summit of the Ghana Premier League table with 52 points after 24 matches, with 8 points separating them and Bechem United who place second.
