AshantiGold are on the verge of signing free agent Emmanuel Mintah, Kyfilla.com can report.
The 23-year old who was released by Karela United after their NC Special Competition tier 1 final against Asante Kotoko, is currently a top target for the Obuasi based side who are augmenting squad for the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Kyfilla.com can exclusively report that Emmanuel Mintah is currently in Sunyani and will touch down in Obuasi in the coming days to seal a deal with AshantiGold should negotiations end fruitfully.
Mintah joined Karela United in 2017 from lower tier side Dunkwa United after spending three years at the division one side.
As a defensive midfielder, he managed to cap 52 matches for the Ayinase based side, scoring 11 goals with 10 assists to his name.
The former Techiman City enforcer will be a great addition to the Miners midfield as they prepare for the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
Emmanuel Mintah also played for Sun City FC, Bechem United and B.A Stars.
