Prolific goalscorer, Prince Opoku Agyemang has returned to Medeama Sporting Club after just four months at Cape Town FC in South Africa.
Opoku Agyemang joined Cape Town FC on year deal in October, 2020 following a spectacular performance for Medeama Sporting Club in the Ghana Premier League.[ads2]
But according to media reports, both Medeama Sporting Club and Cape Town FC have mutually terminated the deal after just four months.
He is making a return to Medeama due to the team’s poor goal scoring form this season.
Due to the team’s poor attacking form this season, the management of the two-time Ghana FA Champions have brought in experienced Ahmed Toure to partner Prince Opoku Agyemang in attack.[ads3]
Before leaving for Cape Town FC, Prince Opoku Agyemang was in a top form for Medeama Sporting Club, scoring 11 goals in 14 appearances last season.
He also provided three assists in the process.[ads4]
Opoku Agyemang was instrumental when Ghana finished as runners-up at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal.
He joined Medeama Sporting Club before the start of the 2019/20 league season from division two outfit New Edubiase.[ads5]
