Young footballers of African Vission Academy who died in a fatal accident at Offinso in the Ashanti Region have been laid to rest.
The incident occurred on Saturday, September 19, 2020 when the team was returning to Offinso from a colts registration exercise in Afrancho where they were hit with the ghastly accident which claimed the lives of eight.

Four out of the eight who were Muslims were buried few days after the accident and the remaining four were laid to rest this morning.
The burial service held today was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Isaac Asiamah, Director-General of the National Sports Authority Professor Peter Twumasi, Ghana FA Vice President Mark Addo, Ghana FA Executive Council member Frederick Acheampong and many others.

The Ghanaian government has announced its intentions to foot all medical bills of the surviving victims.
Ghana and former FC Barcelona forward Kevin-Prince Boateng has offered to also support the families that have been affected.

Member of the Executive Council of the Ghana FA have also donated their one-month salaries worth GH¢59,000.
