Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac has named five local-based players in provisional 30-man squad for the AFCON 2021.
Dreams FC duo of Philemon Baffour and Fatawu Issahaku have been included the squad alongside Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richard Attah, RTU talisman David Abagna and Great Olympics striker Maxwell Abbey Quaye.[ads2]
The five have been handed the invitation following their spectacular form in the Ghana Premier League for their respective clubs.
The Black Stars will travel to Qatar for camping before flying to Cameroon for the tournament.[ads3]
Ghana will open camp in Doha, Qatar on December 23. While in the Asian country, they will play three preparatory games.

Ghana has been pitched in a group with Morocco, Gabon and Comoros.
Ghana will open the AFCON 2021 campaign against Morocco before facing Gabon on January 14 an wrap it up against debutants Comoros.
