Football and its administration works has always been preserved of men since the olden days until recent interventions.
The male-dominated business which is highly strenuous to see a woman involving themselves in the Kwame Nkrumah’ era, is gradually becoming a thing of the past under Akufo Addo’ span.
Some women are gradually defining the adage that ‘What men can do , women can do it and even better’ and Madam Patience Aggrey is one of the few.
Born in Shama of the Shama district in the Western region, Patience Aggrey has rised through the ranks and file to become a kingpin in football administration in the Western region.
As the founder of Sekondi-based colts club Asamensido Bayern Munich, Mrs. Aggrey has been able to remain resolute in the male-dominated profession for over 21 years and still grounding.

As a female, she has the passion in raising kids and thought it wise to engage in juvenile football to reach her goal.
She started as a management member of then Cape Coast lower tier club ‘Sor Ba Hwe FC’ before founding her own club, Bayern Munich in the early 2000s.
Explaining why she chose the name ‘Bayern Munich’, she revealed, she admires former Black Stars and Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour and that pushed her to name her club after the Bundesliga outfit.

According to her, she has through her club, produced great talents to the football market which include former Karela United and currently Swoop Park Rangers winger, William Opoku Mensah.
Madam Patience Aggrey is currently the ONLY female club owner in the Western region and the second female coach the Westside have ever seen.
