Ghanaian international, Kevin-Prince Boateng has pledged to support the families of the eight juvenile footballers who died recently from a road accident at Offinso in the Ashanti Region.
It would be recalled that, Kyfilla.com earlier reported that eight young footballers from a African Vission Academy- a clots club in the Ashanti Region have died in a ghastly car accident at Offinso in the Ashanti Region few weeks ago.

It is believed that 34 young footballers of Africa Vision Soccer Academy where involved in the accident, claiming the lives of eight footballers as their minibus they were travelling plunged into the Ofinso river.
Sadly, six of the young footballers died on the spot while two who were in critical condition died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
Ten of the victims were treated at the St. Patrick’s Hospital and have been discharged while others are still receiving treat at the various hospitals.

As at now, those who were hospitalised have been discharged with four of those who died already buried while the other have have been scheduled to undergo a mass burial on Thursday.
The team were returning from Afrancho in the Ashanti Region after undertaking their colts football registration for the next league season where they were hit with the accident.
Speaking on Joy Sports, Kevin Prince Boateng who just signed for Italian serie B outfit AC Monza said he was very sad when he read the news on social media and as a professional footballer he is willing to assist the bereaved families in any way that he can.
“I heard about it on social media and I was really sad and I asked what happened.. I also have kids and I was really hit by the news, I was really hurt”, he said..

“I want to support the families in any way that I can.. I want to get in touch with them and help in any way that will free their minds. I know it has not been easy for them but I want to help them free their minds.. My condolences to the families and am ready to help”, he added..
