The marksman joined the Porcupines from Kumasi-based Division-One side, Asokwa Deportivo in May 2018, under former Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin. He was one of the six young players recruited to bolster the squad in the second round of that season.
Usman Ibrahim struggled for game minutes and was subsequently loaned out to gain some playing time and experience following the arrival of former Coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor.
Though that season’s Premier League competition was suspended after the Anas Arimeyaw Anas’ exposè on corruption in Ghana football, Usman Ibrahim impressed in the few outings he made for the Dansoman club.

The player has since been recalled and was with his colleagues at the Adako Jachie on Monday as the team resumed training after the disappointing Confederation Cup exit.
The future of Coach Kjetil Zachariassen is not yet decided after the club’s poor Africa campaign this season. But, after previously working with Second Assistant Coach, Akakpo Patron, the youngster can only hope of remaining at the club.
