Former Asante Kotoko defender Samuel Inkoom has completed a move to Georgia newly promoted top-flight side FC Samtredia, Kyfilla.com has learnt.

The 30-year old right-back has joined the Samtredia based club on a six month deal after a successful medicals on Wednesday.


Inkoom has joined FC Samtredia as a free agent after stint with Bulgarian side Dunav Ruse came to an end.
The former Kotoko right-back has seen an ebb and flow in his career after a two-year ban placed on him by FIFA in 2017 concerning an issues with his former agent.

After serving the two-year ban, Inkoom joined Bulgarian side Dunav Ruse but unfortunately capped only 18 matches, where the team refused to renew his stay.
He has played for clubs like Sekondi Hasaacas, Asante Kotoko, FC Basel, Dnipro, Bastia, Platanias, D.C United, Boavista, Antalyspor, Vereya & Dunav Ruse.

Inkoom was part of the Black Satellites team that won the 2009 U-20 AFCON in Rwanda & the World Cup in the same year in Egypt after beating Brazil in penalty shootouts.

He made his Black Stars debut on November 20, 2008 against Tunisia and went ahead to cap 46 matches for the Black Stars.
