Ghana Premier League outfit Medeama SC have parted ways with three experienced players ahead of next league season.
The Tarkwa-based side have parted ways with midfielder Eric Kwakwa, Bright Enchill and Abass Mohammed.[ads2]
Kwakwa has been ejected from the club on mutual consent, according to a statement from Medeama Sporting Club.
The former Vikingular midfielder has left the Yellow and Mauves after three stints with the club.
Kwakwa returned to Medeama in 2019 as a free agent on a two-year deal after two previous stints with the club.[ads3]
Former Asante Kotoko striker Abass Mohammed has also been shown the exit door at Medeama after joining in October, 2020.
Mohammed has had his two-year contract terminated by the club despite an encouraging form in the just ended league season.
Another player who has been shown the exit door is left-back Bright Enchill.
He was promising in his early years at the club but has now been released from the team after a not-impressing form last season.[ads4]
Enchill joined Medeama Sporting Club in February, 2018 and was spectacular in his early years but had been sacked from the team after three years of service.
A statement from Medeama announcing the departure of the trio reads, “We have mutually parted ways with midfielder Eric Kwakwa, defender Bright Enchill and striker Abass Mohammed. We thank them for their services to our club. The club will be making further announcements in due course.
