Asante Kotoko have parted ways with goalkeeper Muntari Tagoe on mutual consent, Kyfilla.com can confirm.

The shot stopper met the management of Asante Kotoko today to swerve ties
The former Medeama goalkeeper joined the Asante Kotoko in October 2018 on a three-year deal as a back-up to the first-choice goalkeeper, Felix Annan.

The well-built goalkeeper leaves the Kotoko after making three appearances in the union that lasted for a year.

Muntari Tagoe kept the post in the 1-1 preseason draw with Medeama at the Essipon Stadium last year and also played in the 1-1 draw against Ashgold in the John Agyekum Kuffour Cup.

His competitive debut came in the 1/16 stage of the Tier Two Cup when Kotoko beat Nkoranza Warriors 2-1 in Kumasi.
