Kumasi based female soccer side Nana Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies Sporting Club (NAKA) sent their farewell message to Asante Kotoko ahead of CAF Champions League opener against Kano Pillars.
The Porcupine Warriors will face the Nigerian top-flight side on August 10 at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium before the reverse fixture in Kumasi.
However, as a sign of supporting the Porcupines, the management of the female side have backed coach Kjetil Zachariassen side to go all out to secure the three maximum points.
A statement from the NAKA SC signed by President, Evelyn Nsiah Asare reads, “It is a well-known fact that our darling club is participating in this year’s CAF Champions League.
“Nana Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies SC have been following keenly the wonderful and strategic planning that management has employed so far. We have also been awed by the tactical and serious training delivered by the technical staff and pursued admiringly by the players squad.
“On this occasion of tour impending game with Kano Pillars of Nigeria this weekend, the entire management, technical handlers and players of Nana Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies Sporting Club Ladies SC wish to solidarize with the management, technical team and playing body.of fabulous Kumasi Asante Kotoko and pray that Almighty God grace the team with outstanding win and secure the three maximum points at stake in the forthcoming game.
