Medeama Sporting Club are back to winning ways after defeating Legon Cities FC in matchday eight of the Ghana Premier League in Tarkwa on Wednesday.
The Yellow and Mauves had defeated Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium prior to the Legon Cities FC game.[ads2]
It was skipper Joseph Tetteh Zutah’s only goal in the 22nd minute that ensured that Medeama SC narrowly beat Legon Cities to clinch the three maximum points.[ads3]
The victory ensures Medeama now have twelve points after seven matches with an outstanding game against the defending champions Hearts of Oak.
Medeama will travel to Sogakope to face WAFA in matchday nine of the ongoing league season on Sunday while Legon Cities FC will host Asante Kotoko at the El Wak Sports Stadium on same day.[ads5]
