Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC are close to appointing renowned tactician Maxwell Konadu as the new head coach.
Reports in the local media divulge that, Maxwell Konadu has entered deep talks with the leadership at Legon Cities FC for a possible deal.[ads2]
The former Asante Kotoko gaffer is expected to hold a meeting with the leadership at Legon Cities FC to finalize the deal by the close of the week.
Currently, Bashir Hayford is the man in charge of the Legon Cities FC technical bench but reports reveal that he might be demoted to the yet to established youth side of the club to pave way for Maxwell Konadu to take full control of the senior side.[ads3]
Another reports indicate that coach Maxwell Konadu is willing to take over Legon Cities at the end of the ongoing league season to enable him prepare the club for the 2021/22 league season.
Maxwell Konadu has been unattached with any club after being sacked by Asante Kotoko in December last year.[ads4]
Legon Cities FC are battling relegation after week 22 of the Ghana Premier League. They currently sit sixteenth on the league log with 23 points.[ads5]
