Medeama Sporting Club were held to a 1:1 draw by Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League opener on Sunday afternoon.
The Yellow and Mauves touted as one of the teams favorite to lift the Ghana Premier League title failed to secure a win against Great Olympics at the Akoon Park this afternoon.[ads2]
Ali Ouattara had the opener for the star-studded Medeama Sporting Club side to end the first half.
Resilient Great Olympics side managed to pull themselves together after the break, pilled pressure on Medeama SC before getting the equalizer kind courtesy the brilliant Michael Yeboah.[ads3]
The game ended 1:1 at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
Medeama Sporting Club will be travelling to Dawu in week two of the Ghana Premier League to face Dreams FC whiles Great Olympics host Legon Cities FC at the Accra Sports Stadium.[ads5]
