Ghana have been shamefully been beaten by neighbors Mali by 3:0 in a friendly at the Emir Hotel Sports Complex in Antalya, Turkey this evening.
Goals from Hamari Traore, El Bilal Traore and Amadou Haidara were enough as Mali defeated Ghana 3:0.
The Malians dominated the game throughout the ninety minutes though Ghana made few incursions but none yielded a result.
Stade Rennes defender Hamari Traore opened the scoreline for Mali as early as the third minutes of the game courtesy a poorly defence by Ghana’s left back Gideon Mensah.

Coach CK Akonnor started throwing men into the game for the equalizer by substituting Eugene Ansah for Kamaldeen Suleyman in the 42nd minute. The change yielded no result for Ghana as the first department of the game ended 1:0 in favor of the Malians.
The second half started with Ghana knocking the doors of the Malians for the equalizer but efforts from Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew and Kamaldeen Suleyman proved futile.

The Malians started moving upfront until Hamari Traore crossed a ball from the left side of the Ghana defence which Stade Reims youngster El Bilal Traore beautifully headed the ball into the back of the net of which Lawrence Ati Zigi failed to prevent the ball from entering in the 48th minute.
The second goal forced coach CK Akonnor to start introducing more men into the game by substituting injured Nicholas Opoku for Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo as well as Caleb Ekuban for Gideon Mensah but that angered the Malians for pushing for another goal.

RB Leipzig’s Amadou Haidara made it three for the Malians in the 75th minute to end the game 3:0 in favor of the Malians.
This is the first game for Ghana coach CK Akonnor since taking over as the head coach of the Black Stars from Kwasi Appiah.

Ghana will face Qatar on Monday at Antalya for the final friendly before facing Sudan in AFCON qualifier in November.
