Asante Kotoko defeated Dreams FC by 0:1 in week nine of the Ghana Premier League at the Theatre of Dreams in Dewu on Sunday afternoon.

The Porcupine Warriors, who prior to the clash have accumulated seven points at away, continued their splendid form by pipping the Still Believe lads 0:1 today.
It was an own goal from a Dreams FC defender in the 68th minute, that gifted the Porcupines the three points at Dewu.
The first half was balanced as both sides created glaring chances but couldn’t utilize them.
Dreams FC’s Dentani Amadu was shown the second yellow card in the 36th minute after handling the ball outside their penalty box.

In the 37th minute, Martin Antwi nearly broke the deadlock for Kotoko as he strike upright from William Opoku’s pass to unleash a deadly left-footed strike at goal outside the penalty box.
The first forty-five minutes ended goalless with Dreams FC down by one man.
In the 68th minute after the recess, a Dreams FC defender mistakenly connected a ball into his own net as he was in a haste to clear Imoro Ibrahim’s free-kick
Dreams FC came back strong to snatch the equaliser but all efforts went fruitless after the ninety minutes.

Kotoko have annexed seventeen points after nine matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League and will face regional rivals Ashgold in week ten at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
