Karela United held Elmina Sharks to a 1:1 stalemate at the Ndoum Sports Complex on Sunday afternoon.

The Ayinase based side secured their first point in the ongoing league season after a defeat in the opener.
Darlington Gyan Fosu had the opener for Karela United after connecting a pass from Franklin Osei on the 30th minute of the game.
Sharks quickly regrouped and started detecting the pace of the game which led to Raphael Ocloo’s equalizer.
Ocloo scored by connecting Samuel Arthur’s powerful deflected strike to end the first half of the game.

Both teams returned from the break to create numerous of chances but failed to utilize them as the score line remained 1:1 after the ninety minute.
