Ashgold Sporting Club started the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season on a good note as they trounced Great Olympics 3:0 at the Lenclay Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Yussif Mubarik, Amos Addai and Shafiu Mumuni did the magic for the Miners at the Lenclay Stadium.
Birthday boy Yussif Mubarik had the opener for the home side as early as the 17th minute before Amos Addai had the second goal in the 38th minute to end the first half.

Skipper Shafiu Mumuni had the final goal for the Miners in the 67th minute to end the game.
Ashgold will travel to Kumasi to face King Faisal in the second game of the season on Sunday.
