Ashimeru was not part of the Black Stars squad that defeated Sudan 2:0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on last Thursday after his club failed to grant him the permission.

His absence from the Black Stars squad caused an unease rest in the country because he was earmarked as the right person to replace injured Thomas Partey in the midfield.

But he has finally been granted the permission to join the Black Stars squad for the Sudan showdown in Omdurman on Tuesday.
Majeed Ashimeru has been in a spectacular form this season for FC Salzburg in the Austria league, capping seven matches with three assists.
