The communication director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has denied reports that Laryea Kingston has been appointed the new interim coach of the club.
Hearts of Oak are currently without a head coach after coach Kosta Papic resigned from his position last Monday.[ads2]
After the resignation of the Serbian, the Phobians announced their U15 coach Samuel Nii Noi to take charge of the first team on interim basis until a substantive coach is appointed.
But days after the appointment of Samuel Nii Noi came with reports that, Hearts of Oak have snubbed Samuel Nii Noi for Laryea Kingston.[ads3]
But Opare Addo has denied the reportage, stating emphatically that Samuel Nii Noi still remains the interim coach of the club and not Laryea Kingston as being speculated in the local media.
“It’s not true we [Hearts of Oak] have appointed Laryea Kingston as an interim coach. Mr Nii Noi trained with the team and will play the Dwarfs game but we are looking forward to appoint a new head coach soon”, Opare Addo told Vision 1 FM.[ads5]
